We are looking for a Group Administrator to join the team.
Who are we?
Western Marinas are on a mission to create marinas to be proud of, realising the potential of Cardiff, Aberystwyth and Watchet marinas, and our associated Dredging Division: WM Dredging.
Our team is the cornerstone of our success, and we’re on the lookout for passionate individuals who share our commitment to excellence. If you’re driven, enthusiastic, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment, Western Marinas is the perfect place to be a part of something truly special.
Our company values are: Safety, One Team, Honesty, Customer and Community and these embody our everyday actions. Western Marinas is a small team and everyone has an important role to play in ensuring that the organisation achieves its objectives.
About the Role
Western Marinas is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Group Administrator to provide administrative support across both Western Marinas and WM Dredging Limited. Based at Cardiff Marina, this varied role will support multiple departments and sites, helping to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service throughout the Group.
The person will act as a receptionist at Cardiff Marina as required, welcoming visitors and handling enquiries in a professional manner. Therefore the role is limited to marina opening hours and predominantly onsite. However, some flexibility, particularly regarding working hours may be discussed.
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive administrator who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be naturally detail‑focused, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and confident communicating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers alike. With a professional and approachable manner, you’ll be someone people trust to get things done accurately and on time.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment and enjoys supporting different teams across a growing business. You’ll be adaptable, practical, and customer‑focused, with the confidence to work independently while also being a strong team player.
As this role will support WM Dredging as required, knowledge and experience of submitting bids and/or the marine environment would be beneficial. But we believe that with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take on new concepts and tasks quickly, these aspects could be learnt.
A full job description is available upon request.
